Today is a big day for updates if you’re a Facebook user, and let’s be honest, you are a Facebook user. Earlier we wrote about the Facebook app for Windows Phone getting a very nice update, and now the Facebook app for Windows 8.1 is also getting a sizable bump.
An important part of Facebook is tagging, and now you can do that from the app. The update also has improved live tiles, the ability to download photos from messages, and a Messaging tile. They also added some cool profile picture tricks. You can set it up so your Windows profile pic will always be the same as your Facebook pic. Full changelog and download link below.
